INDUSTRIAL INNOVATION AWARD 2009
Papers presented at CLAWAR annual conferences are assessed by independent panel of reviewers for practical innovation in the field of robotics, and the winner is given the Industrial Robot Innovation Award, which comprises an engraved object, some cash, certificate and access to journals of Emerald Publishing Company over a specified period. In addition to the winner a certain number of papers are selected as highly commended and relevant certificates are issued to these.

The panel of reviewers identified one winner and six highly commended papers presented at CLAWAR 2009: 12th International Conference on Climbing and Walking Robots and the Support Technologies for Mobile Machines, 9-11 September 2009, Istanbul, Turkey.
